Betty Pavlish, 77, Dickinson, died Saturday, October 21, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Jeff Zwack celebrating. Pallbearers will be Edward C. Ressler, Dwight Burwick, Mark Maddock, Keith Pfau, Rob Dolechek and Dale Twardoski. Interment will be in the St. Patrick?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be at Price-Murphy Funeral Home on Monday from 11 a. m. to 9 p. m. with a rosary and prayer service at 6:30 p. m. led by Deacon Ron Wolberg. Elizabeth Rose Twardoski was born on August 16, 1929, north of Belfield, to John and Anna (Woznick) Twardoski. Betty married John A. Pavlish in November, 1946, in New Hradec. They farmed for several years and moved to Dickinson in 1971. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 30 years. Betty?s husband John, died in October, 1985. Betty enjoyed having coffee at the Paragon with her friends. She also enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by: one son, David, Dickinson; one grandchild, Kimberly Pavlish, New Salem; and two great-grandchildren, KC and Wyatt Schaaf, New Salem; two brothers, Steve (Angie) Twardoski, Apple Valley, MN, and Fritz (Eleanor) Twardoski, Bismarck; four sisters, Caroline Johnson, Jamestown, Calif. , Leona (Christ) Dolechek, Dickinson, Benny (Mike) Pfau, Dickinson and Shirley (Dave) Bray, Canada. She was preceded in death by: her husband, parents, infant brother, Paul, and brothers, Harold and George.
