Beverlee Gustafson

Funeral Services for Beverlee L. Gustafson, 69 of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Friday, January 7, 2005 at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Dickinson with Rev. Steven Tangen officiating. Burial will be in the Dickinson Cemetery. Beverlee passed away Monday, January 3, 2005 at her home in Dickinson. Visitation will be Thursday, January 6, 2005 from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. She was born December 31, 1935 at Estelline, SD, the daughter of Albert and Evelyn (Bluske) Blumke. She grew up and attended schools in Estelline and Brookings, SD, graduating from the Brookings High School in 1948. Beverlee moved to Rapid City where she worked for a law firm. On September 12, 1955 she was married to Alvin (Bud) Gustafson at Rapid City. In 1956 they moved to Dickinson where they had made their home since. Beverlee worked in the medical records department at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Great Plains Clinic in Dickinson. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, computer games, throwing a nickel in a slot machine, gardening and was on a bowling team for many years. She especially loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Alvin of Dickinson; two sons: Scott Gustafson of Dickinson and Mark (Lori) Gustafson of Torrington, WY; two daughters: JoAnn (Greg) Miessel of Arvada, CO and Debra (Jeff) Bartholomew of Dickinson; six grandchildren: Austin, Katey, Jared, Brad, Morgan and Shaina; two brothers: Harley (Shirley Blumke of Estelline, SD and Lowell (Lois) Blumke of Prior Lake, MN and a sister, Shirley (Earl) Colberg of Estelline, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant grandson.
