Funeral Mass for Beverly Jean Braun, 59, of New England will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 7th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Ben Wanner celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation for Bev will be 3:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 6th at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 6:00 pm.
Beverly passed away July 3, 2022 at her residence.
Beverly Jean was born in Dickinson on November 18, 1962, the daughter of Ralph and Bridget (Splichal) Urlacher. She grew up on the family farm southwest of New England and was a 1981 graduate of New England High School. Following graduation, she started her twenty year career with Border States. On May 10, 1985, Beverly married Gilbert Braun in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church of Dickinson. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Danny and Dana. The family made their home on the Braun family farm four miles west of Scheffield. Bev worked for Slope Electric for ten years and she was an incredible hard worker, always helping on the family farm. She loved mowing with her John Deere tractors, being outdoors, driving her Jeep and gardening. Her family was important to her and she always put everyone’s needs ahead of her own. Bev cherished family time and she especially adored her grandchildren.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Gilbert; her children, Danny (Linda) Braun of Dickinson, Dana (Brad) Adams of Dickinson; grandchildren, Kyler Benfiet, Logan Benfiet, Danika Braun, Dominic Braun; sisters, Barb (Brian) Woehl of Dickinson, Deb (Chuck) Urlacher-Briske of New England, Karen Kouba of Regent; brothers, Richard (Joan) Urlacher of Dickinson, Kenny Urlacher of New England; father-in-law, Anton Braun of Richardton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bridget Urlacher; mother-in-law, Lorraine Braun.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Dickinson.
