Funeral Services for Beverly Ann Richtsmeier 71, of Baker formerly of Waseca, Minnesota will be held later this summer in Minnesota. Cremation has taken place per Beverly’s request. 

Beverly passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at her home in Baker following a long illness.

She was born on September 10, 1953 the daughter of Marvin and Fern (Born) Klampe in Waseca, Minnesota. Bev grew up and attended schools and graduated from the Waseca High School in 1972. She was married to Dave Krause and together they had two children, Wendy and Mike. Bev worked at E.F. Johnson’s for several years later worked at various jobs throughout Waseca. After her divorce with David Krause she continued to live in Minnesota. Beverly met David Richtsmeier and they were united in marriage September 19, 1993. Together they enjoyed many years of traveling the country especially to Babbit, MN. She enjoyed buying scratch tickets and decorating her yard. Bev was an avid fan and watched the Minnesota Vikings which broke her heart every year. Bev and David continued to live in Waseca throughout their time together. David passed away in January of 2023 and that spring Bev moved to Baker to be closer to her children. She especially loved and enjoyed her granddaughter and her great grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Jake) Wagner, Baker; a son, Michael (Gretchen) Krause, Baker; a sister, Carol (Terry) Jewison, Waseca, MN; a granddaughter, Jessica (Sheldon) Benedict; a great grandson, Jason Benedict; and two nephews, Nic and Ben Jewison

She was preceded in death by her husband David Rechtsmeier; her parents and a grandson, Stanley David Wagner.
