A Graveside service for Beverly Faye (Parks) Wheeler, 72, of Bolivar, MO, formerly of Baker, MT, will be 4:00 p. m. , Friday, June 21, 2013 in Bonnievale Cemetery, Baker, MT, with Pastor Levi Dufrey officiating.
Beverly Faye Parks Wheeler, 72, of Bolivar passed away Thursday, June 13th at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar. She was born in Miles City, Montana to Ralph and Rosa Parks. Beverly married Russel Wheeler on June 7, 1958 and he preceded her in death August 4, 1989. She moved to Bolivar with her family 28 years ago coming from Lead, South Dakota and made this community her home. She was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church and throughout her life as health permitted participated in church activities by singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School among other things. She had worked for the police department in Spearfish, South Dakota and worked with the Bolivar Police Department fulfilling various duties upon moving here. Beverly enjoyed horses, dogs and other animals. She liked to do crafts such as leatherworking and crocheting. She was good at canning, baking and cooking for her family. Her hobbies included bowling, dancing and shooting her pistols.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, husband and 3 siblings.
She is survived by her mother Rosa Parks of Bolivar; daughters Jessie Wheeler and Lena Conner and her husband John of Bolivar, Arris Rucker and her husband Carl of Dunnegan; son Rusty Wheeler of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandchildren Kasey and her husband James, Kimberly and her husband Patrick, Keely, McKenzie, Kobi, Kassi and her husband Jamie, Alanzo and his wife Amanda, and James; great-grandchildren Bradley, Alexis, Kielynn, Kyra, Nevaeh, Ian and Devon.
Visitation for Beverly Parks Wheeler was held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, June 15th with a funeral service following at 4:00 PM officiated by Rev. Terry Faulkner at the Murray Funeral Home in Bolivar.
