Bonnie passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at CHI St. Alexius Hospital, Dickinson.

Bonnie was born May 24, 1938 in Missouri, the daughter of Kermit and Arvilla (Howell) Conrad.  At the age of three, she moved with her parents to Dickinson where she attended and graduated from high school.  Bonnie married Patrick Carroll on January 23, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson. Together, they made Dickinson their home where they were blessed to raise their only daughter, Shelly.  In 1978, Bonnie began managing the Carroll Mobile Home Court, which she did for over 20 years.  She also managed Southview Estates Court.  Bonnie was a lady who loved having her hair done weekly, shopping, playing cards, bingo, pinochle, and listening to music.  She found joy in cooking and entertaining.  She especially liked out doing herself with cooking and decorating at the holidays. Bonnie truly loved and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and attending every event they were involved in.  Traveling around the country and going to the cabin in the badlands were fun past-times for Bonnie.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, and she served as President of the North American Manufacturers Housing Association.  In the past three years, Bonnie loved seeing the family grow with the addition of her three great-grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughter, Shelly (Dave) Michaelson of Dickinson; half-brothers, Toby Conrad and Marty Conrad of Hurley, MO; half-sisters, Susan Henry of Hurley, MO and Sally Springer of Crane, MO; grandchildren, Mandy (Jared) Slinde of Fargo, Matt (Brianna) Michaelson of Dickinson, Megan Michaelson (finacee, Mason Magle) of Fargo, Marc Michaelson of Dickinson; great-grandchildren, Brynley and Cade Slinde, and Emmett Michaelson; sisters-in-law, Sister Clarice Carroll, Patricia Carroll, Kathy Haas and Rita Weber of Fargo; and brothers-in-law, Joe Carroll (MaryAnn) of Florida and Nick (Ruby) Carroll of Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Arvilla Conrad; step-mother, Mildred Conrad; half-brothers, Tommy and Terry Conrad; half-sister, Carole Conrad.
