Funeral services for Laura ?Bonnie? Dohrmann, 95, of Taylor, ND will be 10 a. m. Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Immanuel Church, Taylor, ND with Pastor Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND with a prayer service at 7 p. m. Laura passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Bismarck Baptist Home, Bismarck, NDLaura Vivian Dohrmann or Bonnie as most of her family and friends knew her was born July 21, 1913 the daughter of Oscar and Lillian (Wieglenda) Neal on the family farm east of Gladstone. She grew up and attended school in Taylor, graduating as salutatorian in 1932. Bonnie was married to Kenneth Dohrmann on June 30, 1939 at Taylor, ND. They lived on the home place where Kenneth grew up. To this union four children were born, William, Lyle, Darlene and Kenneth Jr. Bonnie enjoyed the farm life, preparing big meals, gardening, and canning. Bonnie always felt blessed to be able to live in her own home most of her life and be near her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the most precious part of her life. Bonnie was an active member of the Immanuel Church of Taylor and helped out whenever possible. One of Bonnie?s favorite Bible verses was Psalm 91:16, ?With long life I will satisfy Him and shew Him my salvation?Bonnie is survived by: two sons; William ?Bill? (Jeanette), Taylor, Lyle, Sturgis, SD; a daughter Darlene (Raymond) Wolf, Bismarck; grandchildren; L. J. (Janet), Taylor, Lynnelle (George) Unruh, Phoenix, AZ, Audrey(Rick), Dickinson, Karen (Brent), Williston, Jessi(Dana), Fargo, Leah(Steve), Fargo, Steve (Shirley) Wolf, Chicago, IL and Mary (Rich) Dunn, Bismarck; great-grandchildren, Jenna (Brent) Mrnak, Bowman, Jeri, Taylor and Daniel (Rachel) Wolf, Fargo, Sara Dunn, Grand Forks, Sheyann and Jesse Dunn, Fargo; one great-great-grandchild, Tanner Wolf, Fargo and two sisters-in-law, Leona & Lenora Dohrmann, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, an infant son Kenneth Jr. , and a sister Maybelle Herold. Memorials may be given to the Immanuel Church of Taylor in memory of Bonnie.
