Brian Cook, 49, Dickinson, died Monday, August 7, 2006 in Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a. m. , Friday, August 11, 2006 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Austin Vetter celebrating. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 p. m. to 9 p. m. with a rosary and vigil service at 7 p. m. led by Deacon Ron Keller. Brian was born May 16, 1957 in Morton, TX to William Jefferson and Frances (Gleich) Cook. He was schooled in Dickinson, attending Berg Elementary and Dickinson High School, graduating in 1975. Brian was a state champion wrestler for DHS. He worked for the City of Dickinson Street Department and also worked as a tile setter and painter until recently. He was a member of the Boy Scouts in his younger years. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding and loved people, being very a humorous, kind and generous person. He was also a big fan of Elvis. Brian is survived by: his mother, Frances (Ed) Riedl, Dickinson; two sisters, Colleen (Mike) Rohr, and Rhonda Cook, both of Dickinson; three brothers, Dean and Dana, both of Dickinson, and Tim (Susan), El Paso, TX. and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, William Jefferson Cook, and one brother, James Curtis Cook.
