Funeral services for Carla R. Morris, 64, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a. m. , Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with Pastor Joe Natwick officiating. Burial will take place in Daglum Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation for Carla will be from 1:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , Friday, May 20, 2016 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p. m. Carla passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson. Carla Rae Morris was born January 16, 1952 in Forsyth, MT, the daughter of Wayne and Beth (Lambourn) Morris. As a young girl, the family moved to a farm west of New England in the Daglum area where she attended country school through the sixth grade. Carla went on the attend Fisher Country School before graduating from New England High School in 1971. Carla worked for several years as a housekeeper at the Econo Inn. She also spent many hours volunteering at Community Action assisting with filing and answering phone calls. Carla enjoyed attending Prairie Rose activities and going for lunch with her friends and family. She was so proud of her last positon as a volunteer CNA. Carla enjoyed playing Triominoes, Bingo, Pokeno, watching movies & TV, cruising main and hot fudge sundaes. Carla is survived by her brothers, Jim (Arlene) of Gillette, WY, Bob (Linda) of Mandan, Milo (Pam) of Dickinson, Jeff (Lorie) of Vancouver, WA, and Guy (Dana) of Portland, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Pam Locket. Memorials may be given to The Arc of Dickinson, Community Action Partnership, or St. Luke’s Home.
