The Funeral Mass for Cary D. Ridl, 54, Dickinson, will be at 10:00 a. m. , Monday, January 22, 2007 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Jim Braaten celebrating. Interment will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. , Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Visitation will continue from 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home with rosary and prayer service at 7 p. m. led by Deacon Jerry Volk. Cary passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Cary Ridl was born July 7, 1952 to Albert C. Sr. and Betty (Saetz) Ridl in Dickinson, ND. He grew up and attended Roosevelt Elementary School and later Dickinson High School. Cary then trained with the Job Corp in Anaconda, MT for a brief period. He returned home and began working for the Dickinson Cheese Plant. Cary continued to work there for over 25 years. Cary loved his pets, both dogs and cats. He enjoyed watching all of the local sports and especially liked watching the L. A. Lakers. Cary loved cars, especially vintage Chevys, and was always eager to ride along with his brother Tim in search of collectable cars. He also helped his brother at his business, Pat?s Towing and Auto, and enjoyed taking long road trips. Cary was also very fond of the motorcycle his brother Francis made for him. He is survived by: his mother, Betty, Dickinson; brothers and sisters, Raymond J. (Luella) Ridl, Dickinson, Francis (Leota) Ridl, Loveland, CO, Albert Ridl, Jr. , Aurora, CO, Patrick (Sherrie) Ridl, Dickinson, Erv Ridl, Dickinson, Tim (Glenora) Ridl, Dickinson, Ann Marie (Jim) Gorman, Aurora, CO, Betty (Jerry) Volk, Dickinson, and Rita (David) Gardner, Omaha, NE and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father; brother, Evan; sister, Jacqueline; grandparents, Carl and Minnie Ridl, Frank and Annie Saetz; and a Niece, Christa Ridl.
