Funeral services for Cassandra Zietz, 23, Dickinson, will be 10 a. m. , Friday, April 21, 2006, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Rev. Steve Tangen officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 12 noon to 9 p. m. , Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a prayer service at 6 p. m. led by Rev. Pat Higgins. What a delightful difference one single life makes. . . Cassandra Marie Zietz born Oct. 27, 1982, in Dickinson, ND, passed away April 15, 2006, at the Wyoming Medical Center, Casper WY. Cassandra was raised in Dickinson, ND and graduated from Dickinson High School in 2003. She loved volunteering at St. Joseph?s Hospital in the Rural Health Department and in Medical Records. She also helped out at Mon-Dak Sports Center and Continental Real Estate. Most of all, Cassandra deeply loved her family and friends. She enjoyed watching any sports that the Dickinson Midgets played and especially took pleasure in cheering on the Denver Broncos. Additionally, Cassandra liked to visit with her friends and family at ?Thursday night wings?. Cassandra was named a notable North Dakotan, and was a member of Sporting Chance and Roughrider Archers. Cassandra took pleasure in many outdoor activities, and particularly loved hunting and fishing with her Dad. She was active in water skiing, snow skiing and always had fun driving golf carts. Cassandra participated in the State Council on Developmental Disabilities and traveled to national meetings for the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities. Cassandra knew no strangers, she was a friend to everyone she met. She had a heart of gold and kept giving and thinking of others until the very end. Cassandra became a donor and gave the gift of life to others on Easter Sunday. What a delightful difference Cassandra?s life made. Cassandra is survived by: her loving parents, Dale R. and Diana Zietz, Dickinson; two very loving sisters, Samantha and Veronica Zietz, Dickinson; one terrific niece, Styrling Zietz, Dickinson; grandparents, Robert D. Walker, Casper, Wyo. and Kay Walker, Casper, Wyo. ; three uncles, five aunts, many great-aunts, uncles and cousins. Cassandra was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Donald and Harriet Zietz, great-grandparents, Julius and Thelma Hansen, and special friends, Todd Larsen and Todd Andrew. Memorials may be made to Sporting Chance, Twist of Fate, or Ski for Light.
