Catherine Buresh

Funeral Mass for Catherine Buresh, 79, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Father James Braaten celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery in South Heart, ND. Visitation will take place from 12 pm to 9 p. m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 7 p. m. Catherine passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck. Catherine Binstock was born September 24, 1929 to Louis and Catherine (Bren)Binstock in Dickinson, ND. She grew up and attended country school near the family farm and later attended Model High in Dickinson. After her schooling, she met and married Edmond Kostelecky on October 2, 1946. They made their home on a farm between Dickinson and South Heart. It was here, they raised their family of four children. After Edmond passed away in 1980, Catherine moved to Dickinson. On November 21, 1990 Catherine and Frank Buresh were united in marriage. Together, Catherine and Frank continued to make Dickinson their home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, embroidering and traveling. Catherine enjoyed being with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids. Catherine is survived by: husband, Frank Buresh, Dickinson, ND; son, Michael (Gail) Kostelecky, Woodbury, MN; daughters, Colleen Steffan, Dickinson, ND, Kathy (Wilfred) Volesky, Mandan, ND, Nancy (Kevin) Buresh, Ogden, UT; step-sons, Ronald (Sharon) Buresh, Dickinson, ND, Conrad (Melodee) Buresh, Cando, ND, Frank (Karen) Buresh, Dickinson, ND; step-daughters, Elaine (Gary) Bullinger, Dickinson, ND, Lorraine (Dick) Erickson, Killdeer, ND; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren; sisters; Lillian Splichal, OR, Rose Steffan, Josephine Privratsky, Anna Privratsky and Dorothy (George) Kostelecky all of Dickinson, ND. She is preceded in death by: her parents; first husband, Edmond Kostelecky; sisters, Mildred Privratsky, Minnie Privratsky and Martha Dukart.
