The Mass of Christian Burial for Catherine Geiger, 96, Dickinson will be 1 p. m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Amalraj Roche, celebrating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph?s Cemetery. Dickinson. Visitation will be at Stevenson Funeral Home on Monday from 1 p. m. to 9 p. m. A rosary and vigil will be held at Stevenson Funeral Home at 7 p. m. on Monday. Catherine Geiger passed away Friday, February 23, 2007, at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson. Catherine was born on February 14, 1911, in Dickinson to Nickolaus and Eva Maria (Meyer) Wolbaum. She was raised on the family farm and attended county school south of Dickinson. Catherine married Henry Geiger at St. Joseph?s in Dickinson. She was a homemaker and cared for her seven children and mother. Henry died in 1990. She enjoyed baking and crocheting and was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson. Catherine is survived by: two sons: Henry Geiger, Jr. , Casper, WY and Alvin Geiger, Virginia Beach, VA; three daughters: Gladys Betlaf, Dickinson, ND, Katherine Dennis, Dickinson, ND and Bernice (Carl) Kuhn, Dickinson, ND; two daughters-in-law, Wanda Geiger, Dickinson, ND and Ying Geiger, Denver, CO; 26 grandchildren, 39 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; two sons: Howard Geiger and Melvin Geiger; a grandson, David Geiger; four brothers and two sisters.
