Dear Catherine's family, Catherine was part of our pen pal program called "Friends Forever" at Valley Eldercare. She was a kind, gentle, caring, and loving lady. She looked forward to our monthly visits and doing various activities with the students. She will be greatly missed! We will all treasure the wonderful memories we have of her. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Mrs. Wages and 4th graders at J. Nelson Kelly Elementary School

My sincere and deepest condolences to Catherine's family. She crossed my path in life as she was my only sister, Connie's, godmother and for this I will always be thankful. Catherine never forgot what being a godmother entailed, and her visits to our home at Christmastime and Connie's birthday and high school graduation were filled with warmth, love and laughter. She was a sweetheart of a woman and her beautiful, caring heart encompassed all she devoted herself to and to everyone she encountered in her lifetime. Faith, family and friends were of the utmost importance to her. May she rest in peace in the Lord's arms and glow in the reunion of her Tommie for all eternity.

When I returned to St. Patrick's 20 years ago Catherine was so kind and welcoming. Her obituary recalls so many of her community activities, but I remember most her deep, mellifluous voice singing in the choir and especially doing the readings at mass. Just a wonderful, humble, accomplished woman; a leader, for sure. I know you, her family, are grateful for her long inspiring life.
