Funeral Mass for Charles “Charlie” Frank, 74, of New England will be 9:30 a. m. Monday, May, 20, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father Biju Chitteth celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New England. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. Sunday, May 19th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a Rosary & Vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Charlie Frank passed away, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger, ND. Charlie Frank was born January 30, 1939 in New England, the son of Joseph and Alma (Schobinger) Frank. He grew up on a farm near New England, attending school in town and graduating from St. Mary’s High School. He started working at Walsch Equipment which later became known as Tri-County Equipment where Charlie became the head parts manager. It was in 1998 that he purchased the business and has owned and operated it ever since. Charlie was very dedicated to his customers and did whatever he could to take care of them. Charlie was an avid bowler. In his early years he enjoyed spending his time running the Movie Theatre in New England. He always found time to take care of his kitty cats. Charlie is survived by his sister, Eileen (Clem) Decker of Bismarck; brothers, Dan (Betty) Frank of New England and Jim (Arlene) Frank of Beulah, ND; and sister-in-law, Patti Frank of New England, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alma; brother, Don Frank; infant sister, Mary and step-mother, Philippine Frank.
