Funeral Services for Charlotte Louise (Steen) Bergstrom, 83, of Baker will be 11:00 a. m. , Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with Pastor Neva Rathbun officiating. Burial will be in the Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. and continuing on Thursday from 8:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. at Stevenson’s Funeral Home. Charlotte Louise Bergstrom passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at her home in Baker, MontanaCharlotte was born January 10, 1931, in Baker, Montana the daughter of Fred and Corrine Steen. She attended grade school in Ollie, Montana and graduated from high school in Baker, Montana. Charlotte was married to Robert James Bergstrom in September, 1948 and lived south of Baker where they farmed and ranched. Together they had three children, Robert “Rob” John Bergstrom, Barry “Butch” Keith Bergstrom, and Randi Kay Bergstrom. Robert and Charlotte later divorced with Charlotte working briefly in Baker and moving to Spearfish, South Dakota where she managed the Kelly Inn. She later settled in Sheridan, Wyoming where she made her home working at the Sheridan Center, Mint Bar and the Legion Club. Charlotte lived on the outskirts of Sheridan along Goose Creek, where she enjoyed working in her large yard and garden. She took pride in her many flowers and keeping her yard immaculate. Charlotte was an animal lover and was especially fond of her cats and dogs. She was an avid card player and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: her two sons, Rob and his wife, Julie of Mission, South Dakota, and Butch and his wife, Joann of Sheridan, Wyoming; a daughter, Randi her husband, Doug Wenz of Baker, Montana; four grandchildren, Diane (Verlyn) Bouma of George, IA, Damon Wenz of Billings, Bo (Lindsey) Bergstrom of Boulder, CO and Jay (Fiancé – Maggie) Bergstrom of Sheridan, WY. ; five great-grandchildren, Brooke & Hailey Wenz of Billings, MT. , Anna & Morgan Bergstrom of Boulder, CO and Alivia Groshart of Sheridan, WY; a brother, Gordon and his wife, Jan Steen of Baker, MT and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother, Robert and her granddaughter, Cindy Roberts
