Clara Heiser

Funeral Mass for Clara W. Heiser, 87, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND with Father Dennis Schafer celebrating. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph?s Cemetery in Dickinson, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14, from 10:00 a. m. until 9:00 p. m. , with Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Dickinson, ND. Clara passed away Friday, March 10, 2006 at her home in Dickinson. Clara was born July 13, 1918 to Robert and Barbara (Schneider) German on the family farm north of Rhame, ND. She grew up and attended area country schools. On September 28, 1942 she married Marcus Heiser at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson. The couple made their home on the family farm south of Manning. It was here where they raised their seven children. Clara and Marcus retired from the farm and moved to Dickinson in November of 1991. She always stayed active and was eager to Volunteer at the nursing homes, House of Manna and the senior citizens center where Clara enjoyed helping with Pinochle, Whist and Bingo parties. She loved quilting and sewing made a quilt for each of the grandchildren. Clara is survived by two sons, Joseph (Charlotte) Heiser of Minot, ND; Mark Heiser of Fargo, ND; four daughters, Barbara (Harvey) Caldwell of Omaha, NE; Laureen (Roger) Jun of Otoe, NE; Rita (Greg) Cronholm of Plainview, TX; Annette (Matt) Sorenson of Herndon, VA; two brothers, Ray (Ellen) Germann; Robert (Viola) Germann; two sisters, Rosemary Burkhart; Marion Silbernagel; one sister-in-law, Caroline Germann; fourteen grandchildren and two step grandchildren and six great grandchildren and two step grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Husband Marcus, a son Vernon,
