A Liturgy of the Word Service for Clara Lamprecht, 87, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Father Shannon Lucht celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New England.
Visitation for Clara will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Clara passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson.
Clara was born November 23, 1930 to Louis and Katherine (Scharick) Riedl in Dickinson. She grew up and attended school in Dickinson, graduating in May of 1949. Clara began working as telephone operator when she was a junior in high school and continued to work there until the company moved to Bismarck. She married John Lamprecht at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, on July 5, 1955. Together they moved to New England until 1974, when they moved back to Dickinson. They made their home there ever since.
When John passed away, Clara dedicated herself to religion, saying two rosaries daily. She also was an avid reader and loved to travel.
Clara is survived by her brother, Edward (Frances) Riedl of Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Katherine Riedl; husband, John Lamprecht; and siblings, Louis Riedl, John Riedl, Joseph Riedl, Nicholas Riedl, Anton Riedl, Cornelius Riedl, Raymond Riedl, Anna Schneider, Eva Riedl, and Katherine (Mulkern) Riedl.
