Clara Magdalena Rehling, age 90 of the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin and formerly of Hebron, died Wednesday, November 02, 2005, at Medcenter One in Bismarck. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Central time Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hebron with the Reverend Ken Trana, officiating. Burial will be in the First Congregational Cemetery in Hebron. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 3-8 p. m. at Spangelo Funeral Home in Hebron, and for one hour prior to services at the church. Clara was born Nov. 12, 1914 the daughter of William and Magdalena (Eissinger) Sailer. She was raised on the family farm 26 Miles South of Hebron and educated in a country school. She married Paul Rehling, July 11, 1940 at Wibaux, MT. Following marriage they resided in Hebron where they raised their three children. Following the death of her husband Paul, Clara worked as a cook, did child care, and baked. Clara enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and visiting and baking for her family. She also loved to entertain by playing harmonica, German singing, and old time music. One of her annual highlights was when the kindergarten class was learning the alphabet and got to the letter Q, they came to see her Quilts, and she would explain how they were assembled and finished. She also enjoyed her trips to Montana with her niece Mary. She was a member of the First Congregational UCC, the Guiding Light, and the Germans from Russia, Hebron Historical Society, and the Hebron Senior Citizens. She died November 2, 2005 at Medcenter one in Bismarck. She is survived by her two children: Donna (Fred) Duckwitz, Hebron, ND; and Kenneth (Judy) Rehling, Hebron, ND; one daughter in law: Marlys Kienzle, Mandan, ND; Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Alvin Sailer, of Elgin, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, (December 30, 1964), one brother Ernest, and one son Victor.
