Funeral Mass for Clementina Faller, 98, of Dickinson will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.
Visitation for Clemmy will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 with a Rosary and prayer service taking place at 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Thursday June 9, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Clemmy passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson, ND.
Clementina Huschka was born March 15, 1913 in rural South Heart, the daughter of John and Anna Mary Huschka. She grew up and attended school at St. Pius Grade School at Schfield, ND. In 1929, at the age of 16, Clemmy moved into Dickinson to care for her mother. On February 6, 1932, she married Frank Faller at Dickinson. To this union five children were born: Irene, Donald, Viola, Richard and Sandra. Clemmy worked at various cleaning jobs through out Dickinson. Clemmy enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and crocheting. She loved spending time fishing and playing cards with Frank. Clemmy was a past member of the German Hungarian Club and a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Clemmy is survived by her sons, Donald (Angie) Faller and Richard (Delores) Faller, both of Dickinson; daughters, Irene (Donald) Fisher of Dickinson, Viola (Donovan) Neprash of New England and Sandra (Darrell) Stockert of Dickinson; 22 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers; four half-brothers; two sisters; five half-sisters and one great granddaughter.
