Funeral Mass for Clementine Hendricks, 80, of Dickinson is 9:30 a. m. , Thursday, December 9, 2010 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. Burial will be Friday, December 10, 2010 at 1:00 p. m. CST at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary and Vigil at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Clementine passed away on Sunday, December 05, 2010, at Medcenter One Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Clemy as most of her friends and family called her was born on November 26, 1930 in Bowman, North Dakota. She attended Star School near Bowman later finishing up at Sheffield, Montana. Clemy moved back to Dickinson in 1945 where she worked at several places throughout her lifetime as a nursing aide and housekeeper. She finished her working career in housekeeping at the Mischel-Olson Chapel before retiring. Clemy was married to Oscar Hendricks on October 21, 1947 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. After the death of Oscar in 1995, Clemy continued to make Dickinson her home. In 1999, Clemy married Joseph Wegh. They enjoyed the next 10 years together. Joseph died on June 3, 2010. Clemy loved to quilt, sew, crochet, make dolls and gardening. Her specialty was raising African Violets and nursing sick plants back to life. Clemy was a member of the V. F. W Auxiliary #344, American Legion Auxiliary, St. Pius Verein, AARP, Senior Citizens and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include, two sons, Ralph (Akemi) Hendricks, Fort Lee, NJ and Ronald (Aleta) Hendricks, Dickinson; four stepchildren, Doug (Joan) Wegh, Mott, ND, Dennis (LoAnn) Wegh, Regent, ND, Dale (Penny) Wegh, Mott, ND and Lori (Jerry) Maday, Worcester, MA; two brothers, Vincent (Linda) Frank, Talladaga, AL and Daniel (Lyla) Frank, Belfield, ND; six sisters, Caroline Schmidt, Dickinson, Rosmarie Klein, Golden Valley, ND. , Ceclia (Richard) Hanson, Bismarck, ND. , Isabelle Vickerman, Buffalo, MN. , Maryann (David) Harrington, Richardton, ND and Regina Schubert, Richardton; 9 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands, Oscar and Joe, and two brothers, David and Kasimir.
