Colleen Baseflug

Memorial service for Colleen Baseflug Schmidt 56, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Richardton, ND were held December 13, 2007 in Toledo were she lived. Burial will be in a family plot in Jackson, PA at a later date. Colleen passed away suddenly in her home in Toledo, Ohio on December 5th, 2007. Colleen was born December 1, 1951, the daughter of the late Matt and Leota Baseflug. She grew up on a farm along the Knife River south of Richardton. Colleen joined the US Army directly out of high school and retired as a Staff Sergeant. She had been living in Toledo and working as a home healthcare provider since her retirement for the armed forces. Colleen was known for her warmth and her joyful approach to life. She is survived by her sister, Jane of San Carlos, CA, Larry of Jackson Center, PA, Tim of Houston, Tx and many nieces and nephews and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly.
