Funeral Services for Curt Myers, 57, of Medora, will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 at Badlands Ministries Bible Camp in Bethlehem Hall with Pastor Roger Dieterle officiating. Burial will follow in Medora Community Cemetery.
A prayer service for Curt will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Medora Lutheran Church.
Curt unexpectedly passed away on November 24, 2017 following a Thanksgiving gathering at the Roger Myers Ranch in Medora, ND.
Curt Duane Myers was born on June 13, 1960, the son of Roger and Peggy Myers. Curt spent most of his life in Medora, ND, living and working on the Myers ranch. Much of his youth was spent playing sports, hunting, trapping, welding, and learning the ranch way. In 1980, Curt married Shelley DeCoteau and they had two children – Jesse & Jordan. Curt then remained on the ranch until the passing of his mother. That is when he relocated to Moorhead, MN in 2010 to be with his daughter, son in law, and grandchildren. Curt was often caught spoiling his grandkids with treats from “Papa!”. Curt will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his gentle, loving manner.
Curt is survived by his father, Roger Myers, his two children, Jesse Myers of Phoenix, AZ and Jordan (Jesse) Morin of Moorhead, MN as well as his beloved grandchildren, Haiden & Cable Morin. He is also survived by his three sisters, Karen Rice of Golden, CO, Lori (Mark) Elliott of Steamboat Springs, CO, and Brenda (Rich) Larsen of River Falls, WI.
Curt was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy. His family is comforted knowing that he is now in heaven with her by his side and fully restored to the happiness of his youth.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to Badlands Ministries or to the Medora Lutheran church.
