Funeral Mass for Cynthia K. Rambousek, 59, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. , Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Father Kregg Hochhalter celebrating. Burial will be on Friday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.


Visitation will be 12:00 – 4:00 p. m. on Wednesday, September 4th at Stevenson Funeral Home, continuing from 5:00 p. m. – 7:00 p. m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with a Rosary and Vigil Service being held at 7:00 p. m.


Cynthia passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at St. Alexis Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.


Cynthia was born September 8, 1953 in Dickinson, the daughter of William and Josephine (Binstock) Privratsky. She grew up and attended South Heart School, graduating in 1971. She then attended Dickinson State University. Cynthia met and married Merle Rambousek on October 30, 1972. To this union, Jason, Derek and Brent were born. Cynthia worked for the Fad Clothing Store, King’s Super Value and for the last 15 years, she worked for Western Cooperative Credit Union in Dickinson. Cynthia’s precious love was always for her children and grandchildren. She was at every event in which her grandchildren were a part of or performing in. Cynthia collected angels and she loved to bake and cook. Cynthia was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.


Cynthia is survived by her mother, Josephine Privratsky of Dickinson; husband, Merle of Dickinson; sons, Jason (Sandra) and Derek (Shannon) of Dickinson and Brent (Jasmine) of Fargo; eight grandchildren, Dacia, Emily, Keira, Bella, Medora, Colton, Jaxon and Sierra; brother, Roger (Berni) Privratsky of Fargo; sisters, Bernice (Jim) Heck of Bismarck, Laverne (Dave) Ficek of Minneapolis, MN, Michaela Duerre and (Jesse Keidel) of Dickinson, Jolin (Keith) Marsh of Bismarck. She also leaves behind numerous close friends that will miss her dearly.


She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and her father, William Privratsky.
