Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Lefor, with Father Gary Benz celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery.
Visitation 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil service being held 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass for Dale Reindel, 68, of Lefor, ND, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Lefor, with Father Gary Benz celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery.
Visitation for Dale will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil service being held 6:00 p.m.
Dale passed at his home, surrounded by his family, on Friday, April 26, 2019.
Dale Michael was born February 27, 1951 in Dickinson, the son of Mike and Regina (Herold) Reindel. He grew up on the family farm near Lefor. Dale attended school in Lefor, graduating from Lefor High School in 1969. Later Dale attended Hansons Mechanic School in Fargo. During this time he served in the North Dakota National Guard.
On July 15, 1972, Dale married Elvera Dukart at St. Pius Catholic Church in Schefield, ND. The couple made their home on the farm west of Lefor and it was here where they raised their five children. Dale worked as a self-employed farmer and contractor throughout the area.
Dale was very active in his community and served on boards such as: Lefor School board, Knights of Columbus, St. Elizabeth’s Parish Council, High School Alumni, and Farm Bureau. He volunteered countless hours cooking for steak fry’s and various fundraisers at the Lefor KC Hall. Dale enjoyed restoring old tractors, playing pool, dancing, fishing and playing cards. His favorite pastime was visiting with friends, family and neighbors. Because of his outgoing personality, Dale made new friends wherever he went.
Dale will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Elvera; sons, Chris (Rebecca) Reindel of Dickinson, ND Jared (Kelly) Reindel of Nipomo, CA, Justin (Amanda) Reindel of Dickinson, ND daughters: Julie (Peter) Fritz of Dickinson, JoEll (Kevin) Hill of Fargo; Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Victoria, Bradley, Alex, Connor, Samuel, Matthew, Holden, Brody, Layla, Piper, Oriana, Maddox, Aeris; greatgrandchild, Aiden; brothers, Cary (Kathy) of Dickinson, ND; Michael (Judy) of Menoken, ND; James (Audra) of Ashton, IL; sisters, Bernnie (Dan) Linster of Bowbells, ND; Karen (Chuck Placek) Gutenkunst of Bismarck, ND; Cheryl (John) Lenhart of North Carolina; Adela (Larry) Roller of Bismarck, ND; Doreen (Reid) Rolshoven of Grand Forks, ND; Lorie (Travis) Heinert of Minot, ND; Lynae (Buck) Myre, of Great Galls, MT; Mary (Arvid) Hecker of Belfield, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Regina Reindel.
