Funeral services for Darlene Nagel, 69, of Bismarck formerly of Hebron, ND will be Friday, 11:00 a. m. CST, February 5, 2010 at St. John UCC Church, Hebron with Pastor Gaylund Olson officiating. Burial will take place at St. John?s Cemetery, Hebron. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm CST, Thursday, Feb 4 at Spangelo-Stevenson Funeral Home in Hebron continuing from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 pm CST at St. John UCC Church in Hebron. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Darlene passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck, ND. Darlene was born at Elgin, ND on September 8, 1940 the daughter of Jacob and Magdalena (Schock) Wolf. She grew up and attended school and graduated from the Elgin High School in 1958. Darlene was married to Robert Nagel on February 8, 1959. Together they lived in Hebron where three children were born to this union: Lynette, Perry and Jeff. Darlene began working for the Security Bank of Hebron, now the Dakota Community Bank where she spent the next 37 years. She was a member of the St. John Church, sang in the choir and was an active member of the women?s guild. Darlene loved games especially Jigsaw puzzles and Crazy B Rummy. Darlene and Robert enjoyed dancing and being out with friends and family. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchild. Darlene has touched many hearts through her kind words and actions. She would always help in any way she could. Darlene made her home in Hebron until 2007 when she moved to Bismarck where she made her home since. Survivors include, her daughter, Lynette (Mark) Wilson, Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Perry (Sheila) Nagel, Grand Forks, ND and Jeff (Kim) Nagel, Bismarck, ND; four grandchildren, Tyler (Amber) Nagel, Bridgit Nagel, Alex Nagel, Barrett Wilson and Jesse Tran; a great grandchild, Lux Nagel; six sisters, Lorraine Weikum, Elgin, ND, Leona (Jim) Ulrich, Elgin, Luella Baesler, New Leipzig, ND, Bernice (Lew) Thompson, Bismarck, ND, Alverna (Clarence) Vietz, Lincoln, ND, Delores (Meinhardt) Bader, Grand Forks, ND; two brothers, Jake (Sharron) Wolf, Detroit Lakes, MN and Rudy (Mary) Wolf, Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, two sisters, Bernetta Tietz and an infant sister, Claudina.
