Funeral Services for Darrell Chruszch, 58, of Dickinson are 10:00 a. m. , Friday, October 15, 2010 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Ted Johanson officiating. Burial will be in the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. , Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home continuing on Friday, one hour prior to the service at St. John?s Lutheran Church. Darrell passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at his home west of Dickinson. Darrell Allen Chruszch was born on July 8, 1952 in Dickinson, the son of William and Josephine (Grosulak) Chruszch. He attended country school and later Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in New Hradec. Darrell graduated from Belfield High School in 1970. After graduation, Darrell began working in the oil field and made it his career. He held various positions until he began Arrow Sandline Repair. On March 17, 1983, he married Rhonda Twogood in Dickinson. Together they raised their family and made Dickinson their home all of their lives. They purchased a ranch west of Dickinson and built their dream ranch. Darrell?s passion was riding horses and sharing his love of riding horses with his wife and daughter. He enjoyed competing and showing cutting horses as well as raising horses. Throughout the years, the family hosted various cutting horse shows at their ranch. Darrell was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association and was a Director for the North Dakota Cutting Horse Association. Darrell is survived by his wife, Rhonda; daughter, Melissa Chruszch, Fort Collins, CO; whom he loved and cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Heather Jo; brother, William Chruszch and sister, Gertrude Obrigewitch.
