David passed away peacefully at St Luke’s Nursing Home with his family at his side praying the rosary on Monday, September, 18, 2017.

David Vincent was born to Vincent and Agnes (Hanel) Kubas on June 12, 1936. Growing up he attended Sts. Peter and Paul school in New Hradec and finished his eighth grade education in Farm School. He then took over the farm six miles north of South Heart. David married his dance partner for life, Patricia Sadowsky on April 25, 1955. Together they raised nine children.

In 1989 David retired and moved to Dickinson. He loved the challenges of farming and was eager to try new things on the farm. It was very hard for him to retire from farming. After his retirement, he found new hobbies. He enjoyed playing pool, horse shoes, bowling, fishing and cards. He seemed to have magical cards, because at any given moment, his cards would fly across the room. David and Pat enjoyed many vacations with friends and then enjoyed going out for supper on Saturday evenings. The saddest day of his life was on March 25, 2009, when he lost his dance partner to the Lord. Pat took a part of David that he never regained until his death. Praying the rosary was very important to him and he said many for his family.

David was a member of St. Anthony Club, Eagles Club, German Hungarian Club, Catholic Workman, KD and K of C Council, Sts. Peter & Paul and Queen of Peace Catholic Churches.

David is survived by his nine children: Kathy (Galen) Hibl, Dickinson; Wayne (Marla) Kubas, South Heart; Dean (Geri) Kubas, Dickinson; David (Mary) Kubas, Dickinson; Delrey (Marchell) Kubas, Dickinson; Arlen (Dickie Jo) Kubas, South Heart; Charlene (Kevin) Hibl, Dickinson; Ivan (Kristi) Kubas, Dickinson, Terry (Lynn) Kubas, Dickinson; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bridget (Nick) Schank, Dickinson and Edith Rambousek, Dickinson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; twin daughters; sister, Dorothy; parents, Vincent and Agnes; brother-in-law, Tony Rambousek.
