David J. Pavlish, 64, Dickinson, ND, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson.
Services are pending. Cremation has taken place. Military graveside services will be held at a later date in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
David was born in Dickinson, ND to John and Elizabeth (Betty) Pavlish on March 8, 1948. He attended school at South Heart, and graduated from there in 1966. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1967 and served in Vietnam. David worked at a truck driver for several firms, the latest being with his friend Ed Ressler at Ressler Trucking. David enjoyed having coffee at local restaurants with his friends. He also enjoyed rodeos, football, Nascar, and watching the races at the local track.
David is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Schaff, New Salem, and two grandchildren, KC and Wyatt Schaff, New Salem. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, including his special aunt, Bennie Pfau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
