Funeral Services for Deborah J. Hickey-Singer, 64 of Baker will be 10:00 a. m. , Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Pastor Bruce Kolasch will be officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p. m. to 5:00 p. m. Friday, at Stevenson Funeral Home. Deborah passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Billings Clinic. Deb was born on October 13, 1948 the daughter of Roger and Betty (Cole) Nicks in Rapid City, SD. She grew up and attended school in Baker graduating from the Baker High School. Deb was married to David G. Hickey on December 18, 1965 in Baker. Together they raised their family in Baker. She began working at the Baker Hotel and later as a dispatcher for the oilfield, police and bus service. Deb loved working with flowers and took a job with Mona’s Floral in the early 70’s. After her divorce, Deb was married to Roger Singer on February 14, 1996 in Belle Fourche, SD. Together they made their home on the Singer ranch south of Baker. They purchased the Carousel Floral Shop which was later renamed All 4-U Flowers. Deb with the help of her daughter operated it until 2011 when she retired. Deb enjoyed retirement on the Singer ranch and being able to help her Son with his business. She especially loved her children and grandchildren and they were the love of her life. She also enjoyed, camping, flowers, dancing, cooking and in later years, face booking, playing games and sending emails to her family and friends. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, served as a Sunday School Teacher, Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed the Southern Baptist Pastors and Church over the years. Survivors include, her husband, Roger, Baker, MT; two children, Quenton (Krystal) Hickey and Marc-Annette (Kelly) Steen all of Baker, MT; three step children, Dale (Deborah) Singer, Gary (Lisa) Singer and Kelly (Stacy) Singer; two sisters, Vivian (Vic) Blake, Sidney, MT and Pamela (Delaine) Hickey, Miles City, MT; 15 grandchildren, Dustin Hickey, Dezarae (Brian) Jensen, David Hickey, Davun Hickey, Dallis Hickey, Cody Hickey, Morgan Hickey, Dillon Hickey, Kobee Hickey, Kaden Wood, Deborah (Dakota) Steen, Danika (Jean) Steen, 9 great-grandchildren Paige Morse, Shonee Singer, Shania Singer, Shastin Singer, Bailey Singer, Tristan Singer, Kasey Singer, Riley Singer and Emma Singer; 2 great-grandchildren, Brenne R. Jensen and Cadence Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; and son, Roger Hickey.
