A funeral Mass for Delores Weinschrott, 86, of Dickinson, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Visitation for Delores will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14th at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil being held at 7:00 p.m.
Delores left this earth, with her family by her side, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck, of peripheral vascular disease.
Delores Marie Dolajak was born June 27, 1931 in Dickinson, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Pachl) Dolajak. She attended country school near the family farm south of Dickinson. In September of 1949, Delores and Frank Weinschrott were united in marriage. Together, they raised their family on a dairy farm seven miles south of Dickinson. In 1978, the couple moved to the south side of Dickinson.
Delores enjoyed being on the dairy farm and spending time outdoors in her garden in town. She loved to work in her kitchen, baking homemade bread and canning the fruits of her labor. Delores also enjoyed visiting with family, dancing and playing bingo and cards. Family was the most important to her. She would always feed you, especially desserts.
She is survived by her children, Linda Dutchuk of Belfield, ND, Debbie Brault of Helena, MT, Carla Weinschrott of Dickinson, ND, Melvin Weinschrott of Worland, WY, Alan Weinschrott of Mott, Dolora (Steve) Mitchell of Carver, MN, Myron Weinschrott (Shelly Nitchman) of Worland, WY, and Laura Weinschrott (John Scholin) of Fargo, ND; sisters, Lorretta DeLouch of Michigan, Rosemary of Arizona, and Diane Martin of Montana; brother, Raymond Dolajak of Washington, 11 grandchildren, Kristie and Shawn Dutchak, Danny, Chad and Tanya Weinschrott, Kaci and and Jayson Weinschrott, Kimberly Brault and Kristen Shepard, Steven and Kyle Mitchell; and five great-grandchildren, Zachery and Hailey Mitchell, Parkar Brault, Nicholas Shepard, and Sabrina Weinschrott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; baby brother, Joseph, Jr.; her husband, Frank; an infant son, Frank Jr.; a sister, Martha Schroeder; her sons-in-law, Al Brault, Savy Dutchak, and James Pope; and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.Weinschrott Delores
