Delta Bingert

Funeral Services for Delta Bingert, 93, of Hebron will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Marion Manor in Glen Ullin with Pastor Gaylund Olson officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Hebron.


Delta passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Marion Manor in Glen Ullin.


Delta Marie Beyer was born September 30, 1917 in Hebron, ND, the daughter of Adam and Lena (Bierkmaier) Beyer. She grew up and attended schools in Hebron, graduating from Hebron High School. In 1941, Delta married Nick Bingert. To this union a daughter, Nicolette was born. The family lived in Hebron were they made their home. Delta became a nanny and housekeeper for the George Ding family in Hebron and a lasting friendship and relationship continued throughout Delta’s lifetime. She has made her home at the Marion Manor for the last several years. Delta enjoyed quilting, baking, knitting, and especially her flower garden. She was a member of St. John’s UCC Church of Hebron.


Delta is survived by her daughter, Nicolette Schneider of Mandan; one grandson, Clint (Melissa) Schneider of Medora; two great-grandchildren, Kenley & Tyson Schneider; one brother, Edgar (Wilda) Beyer of Dickinson; three sisters, Gladys “Toody” (Ed) Remfert of Glen Ullin, Elaine Bjornson of Chanhassen, MN, and Lila Mae Hermas of Redmond, WA; and her adoptive family George and Barb Ding of Hebron and their children, Brian and Sherri.


She was preceded in death by her parents Adam and Lena Beyer; three brothers, Harvey, Beyer, Adam Beyer, Jr. , and Elmore Beyer; and two sisters, Elmira Beyer and Winifred Beyer.
