Funeral Service for Diana "Diane" Renner, 71, of Baker, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Baker, with Pastor Jim Biswell officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 8 at Stevenson Funeral Home.

Diane passed away May 2, 2024 at Fallon Medical Complex.

Diana Dee Renner, 71, of Baker passed away on May 2, 2024. Diane was born December 14, 1952 in Julesberg, Colorado, twin daughter of Richard and Thelma (Elmore) Atkinson. Diane was the youngest of seven children, Gayle, Linda, Myrna, Myra, Rich and twin sister Debbie. Growing up Diane and her family lived in various places and eventually settled in Baker, MT when she was sixteen. It was here she met the love of her life, Curtis Dean Renner. Diane graduated in 1971 and then they were married September 18, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Into that union they were blessed with their first child, a son, Kevin. They spent 2 years in California before moving to Eugene, Oregon where they lived for a couple years. In 1974 they moved to Rhame, ND where they resided for twenty years. While in Rhame they were blessed with two daughters, Chayni and Brittany. 

Diane was active in the Lutheran Church, bowling league, owner of Di’s Ceramic Den, school bus driver, Post Clerk, cheerleading advisor, coached baseball and tee ball and a variety of other jobs and activities. In 1995, Curt and Diane returned to their hometown of Baker, Montana where they resided until Curt’s passing in 2002.  Diane has remained in Baker continued to support and be very involved with her children and grandchildren, who were the joys of her life.   

Diane will be greatly missed by her son, Kevin Renner of Las Vegas; daughters, Chayni (Gye) Varner of Baker, Brittany (Peter Veal) of Baker; seven beautiful grandchildren, Jacob, Macy, Mallory, Megan, Ayden, Sulliven and Braxten; sisters, Linda, Myrna and twin sister, Debbie; brother, Rich (Cheryl); multitude of nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curt; father, Richard; mother, Thelma; sisters Gayle and Myra.
