Diana Roller, 44, New England, died Monday, December 18, 2006, due to a motor vehicle accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a. m. , Friday, December 22, 2006, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England, with Rev. Basil Atwell, O. S. B. celebrating. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. , Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, continuing at 4 p. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England. A rosary and vigil prayer service will be at 7 p. m. Thursday at St. Mary?s Catholic church, New England. Diana Pladsen was born December 18, 1962, in Hettinger to Ronald and Ella (Holzkamm) Pladsen. She attended and graduated from high school in New England. On June 4, 1983, she married Eugene Roller at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England. She was employed as a secretary to the Slope County Agent in Amidon, worked in advertising at KQCD in Dickinson, and most currently at American Bank Center, New England. She was a lifetime New England area resident. Diana received a Bachelor?s degree in business from Dickinson State University. Diana was involved with the New England Ambulance, where she was a Vice President and EMT. She was a chamber member, member of St. Mary?s Altar Guild and was an active member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, serving on several committees. She was involved in FEMA?s Disaster Planning. Diana enjoyed clogging with the FiddleKick Cloggers, gardening, painting, flowers, traveling, walking and kayaking. She is survived by: her husband, Eugene Roller, New England; one son, Philip Roller, New England; one daughter, Shannon Roller, New England; her mother, Ella Pladsen, New England; one brother, Glenn (Jennifer) Pladsen, Bismarck, ND; two nephews, Isaac and Eric Pladsen, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by: her father Ronald and her paternal and maternal grandparents. In lieu of flowers, memorials are strongly preferred to: The Diana Roller Memorial Fund, c/o American Bank Center, 6 9th St. E. , New England, ND 58647, or any American Bank Center location. The funds will be used to help continue the community spirit, which Diana held so close and was such a part of.
