Dianne passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
Dianne was born on February 14, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ernest and Carmilla (Pribyl) Ficek. On January 15, 1966, she married her high school sweetheart, Victor Binstock. Together, they lived on the family farm south of Dickinson. They embraced farm life, raising cattle and various crops while bringing up their six children.
Dianne worked for 25 years as the business manager for West River Regional Health Center in New England. For many years, she was an active member of the St. Pius Verein Club and St. Mary’s Altar Guild. She was an amazing cook and host, and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Dianne and Victor have many fond memories of travels and social events. In recent years, they enjoyed weekly cards with friends and took this commitment seriously. If you could not attend, substitute players were expected.
A true joy of Dianne’s was spending time with her grandchildren, babysitting, cooking, playing cards and games, and attending school and sporting events. She often said that they keep her young. Every moment was cherished.
Dianne’s unwavering devotion to her Catholic faith was most important in her life. Until her health declined, she participated in Eucharistic Adoration. Her daily devotion included the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy. In her final days, these prayers brought her immense peace and comfort knowing her earthly journey was ending and her eternal joy was beginning.
