Dolores Mischel

Funeral Mass for Dolores Mischel, 79, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. , Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph?s Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation will be 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. , Monday, June 7, 2010, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Dolores passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at St. Luke?s Home in Dickinson. Dolores Weber was born March 28, 1931, to Henry and Elizabeth (Hecker) Weber. She grew up in the Scheffield area until her family moved to St. Placidus, where her family owned and operated the country store. Dolores attended school at St. Mary?s School in Richardton through high school. After high school she worked as a teller at Liberty National Bank in Dickinson. In December of 1950, Dolores married Arnie Mischel at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson. The couple made their home in Dickinson where they raised their two children, Jane and Guy. In 1957, Dolores began working as the Stark County Auditor. She retired in 1991 after nearly 35 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church and served the Lord however she could. She cherished her trip to the Holy Land and Medjugorje. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dolores always looked forward to traveling and vacationing with them. She is survived by her son, Guy (Kathy) Mischel, Dickinson, ND; daughter, Jane Mischel, Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Carter Heiser, Michelle (Matt) Ukestad, and Dustin Mischel; great-granddaughter, Ella Ukestad; brothers, Joe (Judy) Weber, Yuma, AZ, and Ed (Luella) Weber, Crystal, MN; and sisters, Lydia Steiner, Dickinson, ND, and Gloria (Paul) Baker, Spearfish, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnie; an infant brother; and brother-in-law, Clarence Steiner.
