Donald MedunaA Memorial Service for Don Meduna, 61, of Dickinson will be held 2:00 p. m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with visitation from 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. Don passed away December 15, 2009 at St. Luke?s Nursing Home in Dickinson. Don Meduna was born November 29, 1948, in Dickinson the son of Joe and Julia (Dvorak) Meduna. He attended grade school in New Hradec and later graduated from high school in Dickinson. On June 26, 1974, Don and Linda (Fichter) were married and to this union two sons were born, Neil and Ryan. The family made their home northeast of Dickinson, where they farmed and ranched. In 1997, the family sold the ranch operation and moved to Cody, Wyo. , where Don operated an antique business. After the death of his wife Linda in 2005, Don and the boys moved back to Dickinson where Don had made his home since. Don loved cattle and horses as well as being outdoors. He enjoyed woodworking and building anything out of wood. He especially enjoyed being around his family and his two sons. Don is survived by his sons, Neil and Ryan Meduna, both of Dickinson, and his sisters, Joann (Joe) Kessel and Charlene (Gailand) Kadrmas, both of Fairfield. He is preceded in death by both parents and his wife, Linda. Linda Ann MedunaA Memorial Service for Linda Ann Meduna, 52, formerly of Dickinson, will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with visitation from 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. Linda Ann Meduna passed away April 24, 2005 in Cody, WY. Linda Ann Fichter was born December 19, 1952, in Dickinson, the daughter of Nick and Monica (Roller) Fichter. She attended school in Dickinson and worked for the Ramada Inn. On June 26, 1974, Linda married Donald Meduna in Hirshville, North Dakota. Together they raised their two sons, Neil and Ryan, on their ranch northeast of Dickinson. In 1997, the family moved to Cody, Wyoming. At the time of her death, Linda was working for Albertons. Linda is survived by her two sons, Neil and Ryan Meduna, both of Dickinson; one brother Robert Fichter, of Bismarck; and two sisters Gertrude Duttenhefer and Carol Schwindt, both of Chaska, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her husband, Donald passed away December 15, 2009.
