Graveside Services for LaDonna ?Donna? Feryance, 74 of Baker, Montana will be 10:00 a. m. Monday, August 8, 2005 at the Bonnievale Cemetery, Baker with Pastor Danny Winter of the Baker Assembly of God Church, officiating. Donna passed from this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Fallon Medical Complex Nursing Home in Baker. Donna Feryance was born February 10, 1931 in Hettinger, North Dakota to Herman and Ethel (Henley) Kroft. She grew up on her parent?s ranch north of Lodgepole, South Dakota, and as a child she attended a rural country school in Perkins County, South Dakota. Later Donna attended high school in Hettinger. While in Hettinger, she met and married Bob Egland. To this union, a son, Kevin was born. Donna, Kevin and Bob made their home on a ranch north of Haynes. Later Donna and Kevin made their way west to Baker, Montana where Donna began working in a local grocery store. It was while working at the grocery store that she met George Feryance, who was an old acquaintance. After a courtship, they were married in 1964. George and his new bride made their home in Tioga, moving to Glendive, Montana and eventually back to Baker, where they made their home since. Donna enjoyed painting pictures on canvas as well as saw blades. It was a self-taught talent that she loved to do. Her special love was for her husband, George, her son, Kevin and granddaughter, Sharell. Donna is survived by her husband, George of Baker, Montana; a son, Kevin (Charlotte) Egland of Baker, Montana; three sisters: Lola Glass of Bowman, North Dakota, Marge (Clay) Wilson and Carol Merwin both of Hettinger, North Dakota; one granddaughter, Sharell Egland of Billings, Montana; a special nephew, Darrell Glass and his special friend, Eve Hoopes of Henderson, Nevada and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Royal Kroft and an infant son, Michael Lee Feryance.
