Donna Roberts

Donna Roberts, 66, Belfield, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services are 2 p. m. , Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Belfield Lutheran Church, Belfield, with Rev. Roger Dieterle officiating. Interment will be in Belfield Lutheran Cemetery, Belfield. Visitation will be 3 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Friday, July 15, 2005 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson. Visitation will continue Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. Donna Jean Pierce was born June 28, 1939 in Plentywood, MT to Lewis and Thelma (Smith) Pierce. She attended school and graduated from Plentywood High School. She married Jerry Roberts on June 29, 1958 in Froid, MT. She was employed at several grocery stores and cafes during her lifetime, including the Plentywood Red Owl in Plentywood, MT, the Cowboy Caf? in Medora, as well as Pete?s Caf?, Caps Food Store and the Bowling Alley Caf?, all in Belfield. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, doing crafts, working in her flower beds, decorating for the holidays, camping, and helping others in need. She is survived by: her husband, Jerry, Belfield, ND; one son, James (Kelly) Roberts, Belfield, ND; two daughters, Debra (Bryant) Walter, Bismarck, ND, and Brenda (Brian) Olson, Springfield, IL; ten grandchildren; one brother, Harlan (Betty) Pierce, Graham, WA, and one sister, Betty (Robert) Fitzgerald, College Place, WA. She was preceded in death by: her parents; one daughter, Dawn; one sister, Barb; two brothers-in-law, Kermit Goette and Floyd McCoy.
