We just saw Donovan's obituary on the Stevenson website. We are so sorry to have missed his burial. We lived in Dunn Center years ago and got to know him and his parents. He was a sweet, shy man who was always working or driving his Chevy Luv pickup around town. Deepest condolences to all of the family. May he rest in peace. Rob and Mary Sand

I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Donovan from my time at my grandparents, who lived across the street. I always looked forward to checking on the chickens with Donovan and sometimes he would let me feed them. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the Remsing family. Donovan was our neighbor in Dunn Center and many times rakes and cleaned my yard --just across the street. He always did a great job , like he did at the cemetery. He was a hard worker and wore out many lawn mowers. May he rest in peace.

Was saddened to hear of Donovan's death. He was a part of my early childhood in a positive way. I recall attending his 6th birthday party when Goldie pick me and some other "town" kids up and took us to the farm for the party. One of my earliest memories. Also remember starting the first grade the next year and Donovan taught me how to play in the sand box and how to eat paste. Great memories! Donovan and my father Blaine developed a strong bond over the years. He always enjoyed Donovan's company. He made a mark in many folks lives. Richard Fockler

We are sorry to hear of Donovan's passing. We so enjoyed visiting with Donovan and seeing his paintings when we visited everyone in Zumbrota a couple of years ago. One picture in particular sticks out in my mind and it was of cowboy boots - beautiful. He was a talented painter. My condolences. Doug and Vicki (Remsing) McIntyre and family
