Funeral Mass for Dorothy E. Dvorak, 84, of Dickinson will be 1:00 p. m. , Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Austin Vetter celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick?s Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson. Dorothy passed away Friday, September 22, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dickinson. Dorothy was born July 27, 1922 in Dickinson, the daughter of Anton and Philomena (Pribyl) Marsh. She grew up five miles northeast of South Heart where she attended schools. On June 26, 1950, Dorothy was married to George W. Dvorak at New Hradec. They moved to a farm six miles northwest of New Hradec where they spent the next twenty-five years. After George passed away in 1975, Dorothy moved to Dickinson where she made her home since. For the last ten months, St. Benedict?s Court was her home. Dorothy enjoyed quilting, crafts, woodworking and sewing. She was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church. Survivors include a brother Richard (Frances) Marsh, Dickinson, ND; a sister, Elsie Dvorak, Dickinson, ND; two sisters-in-law, Martha Marsh and Eleanore Marsh, Dickinson, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; two brothers: George Marsh, and Charlie Marsh; six infant brothers; one sister, Hattie Adamski; and two brothers-in-law, Joe Adamski and William Dvorak.
