Dorothy Lydia Imhoff, age 76, of the Marian Manor Health Care Center of Glen Ullin and formerly from Hebron, died Monday, November 28, 2005, at Medcenter One in Bismarck. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Central Time Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hebron, ND with the Reverend Ken Trana, officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 4-8:30 pm at Spangelo Funeral Home in Hebron with a prayer service at 7:30 PM Central time. Visitation will continue on Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held in the Congregational Cemetery in Hebron. Dorothy was born July 16, 1929 at Hebron the daughter of Jacob and Lydia (Imhoff) Lennick. She was raised and educated at Hebron graduated in 1947. She worked for Powers Department Store. She married Albert Ding on June 6, 1948 at Hebron. Dorothy was a faithful member of the church involved with the choir and played piano and organ. Dorothy also played for a Men?s Quartet that sang on Sunday nights on the radio station KDIX. She worked in Dickinson at the hospital in the dietary dept. for many years. In 1970 they moved to Dickinson, ND and in 1976 moved to Taylor, ND. Albert died January 12, 1987. Dorothy worked at the clinic in Hebron for 34 years until she retired in 1994. Dorothy married Norman Imhoff, May 27, 1989 at Hebron. Following marriage they resided in Hebron. She was a former member of the Guiding Light, Order of Eastern Star, Past Matrons, and the American Legion Auxiliary and a current member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. Dorothy entered the Marian Manor Health Care Center on March 1, 2004. Dorothy leaves to mourn her husband Norman, Hebron, ND; one son: Clyde Ding, Dallas, TX; four grandsons: Tommy, Christopher, Jeffrey and Michael and three great grandchildren; two brothers: Albert Lennick, Clements, MN; and Ted Lennick, Edina, MN. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Albert, two brothers: Wilbert and Theophile, and one daughter Nancy that died in 1963.
