Dorothy Kroh

A viewing for Dorothy Kroh, 84, of Glen Ullin will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. CT., Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Assembly of God Church in Glen Ullin.

Dorothy passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.

Dorothy was born March 1, 1940 to Fred and Mary (Schelebeck) Roth. She was raised and educated in rural Glen Ullin. Dorothy married Louis Kroh on January 26, 1957 in Glen Ullin. Following their marriage they lived in Bismarck until taking over the Kroh family farmstead in 1957. Dorothy worked alongside Louis on the farm while raising their five children. They grew small grains, ranched cattle, and milked cows. In 1978 they retired and moved to Glen Ullin. Dorothy drove bus, and worked at Doll’s Café, Super Value, and Bob’s Fairway. She was a nurse’s aide at Marian Manor for the last 35 years. Dorothy enjoyed spending time in her garden. Her family will miss her baking, especially her Kuchen, Zucchini bread, and Rhubarb Pie. 

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Lindell (Tammy) of Glen Ullin, Ricky (Dianne) of Glen Ullin, Dwight (Tracey) of Mandan, Randy (Bonnie) of Bismarck; one daughter, Crystal (Jim) Bahr of Glen Ullin; six grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandkids; 9 step-great-grandkids; sisters, Lorraine Miller of Bismarck, Delaine Kottre of Glen Ullin, Sharon Peltz of CO; and brother, Roger Roth of AZ

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Roth; husband, Louis Kroh; brothers, Garfield, Richard, and Jerry Roth; sisters, Gloria Giese and Norma Kobilansky
