Funeral Mass for Dorothy Makowski, 75, of Belfield will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St, Bernard’s Catholic Church in Belfield with Father Shane Campbell celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
Visitation for Dorothy will from 5:30 p.m. – 7: 30 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the church with a rosary and vigil service being held at 6:30 p.m.
Dorothy passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson.
Dorothy was born May 6, 1944 in Beach to William and Ellen (Brennan) Urban. She grew up and attended school in Fryburg. She met and married Leonard Makowski on June 11, 1966 in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. To this union three children were born, Lenny, Jamie and Teresa. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, sewing and spending time with her family. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Leonard of Belfield; daughter, Teresa (Darrell) Olheiser, of Belfield; sons, Leonard Jr. “Lenny” Makowski of Belfield, Jamie (Cary) Makowski of Dickinson; grandchildren, Deanna Makowski, Dion (Stephanie) Makowski, Kayla (Josh Black) Olheiser, Kayanna Olheiser, Tristae Kuhn (Matt), Tyler Kuhn (Audrey); great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Zakory, Aiden, Harrison, Bonnie, Cadence, Jullian, Mya, Oakland, Adelynn; brothers, David (Bertha) Urban, Bruce (Loretta) Urban, Dwight (Laurie) Urban; sisters; LaDonna (John) Hutzenbiler, Charlotte (William) Martian, Sandra (Kevin Bakken) Ridl; sister-in-law, Naomi Urban; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ellen Urban; brother, Jeff Urban and twin brother, Duane Urban; and numerous nieces and nephews.Makowski Dorothy
