Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy Pfau, 86, of Dickinson is Tuesday, January 28, 2003, 2:00 p. m. at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church with Father Austin Vetter, celebrating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick?s Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 3:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Monday from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00p. m. with a rosary at 7:00 p. m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Dorothy passed away on Friday, January 24, 2003, at St. Joseph?s Hospital & Health Center. Dorothy, a daughter of Joseph and Hanna (Booke) Beaudoin was born February 21, 1916 in Gaylord County south of Belfield, ND. She grew up and attended schools in Gladstone and Dickinson. She graduated from Dickinson and started working for Northwest Bell in Dickinson as a Telephone Operator and worked there for over 32 years, while raising her family. In 1969, she retired and continued to make her home in Dickinson. She was able to stay in her own home until June of 2002, when she moved in with son, Doug and Carol. She enjoyed traveling with her six sisters and took many wonderful trips. She especially loved to go camping, fishing and hunting with her husband, friends, and family. She loved growing flowers, especially Zinnias, and gardening. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, James (Eileen) Pfau and Douglas (Carol) Pfau both of Dickinson, ND; five brothers, Wally (Helen) Beaudoin, Dickinson, ND, LeRoy ?Pudge? (Jackie) Beaudoin, Bismarck, ND, Kenneth (Monica) Beaudoin, Sand Point, Idaho, and Tom (Penny) Beaudoin, Villa Park, CA, Floyd (Willow) Beaudoin, Grants Pass, OR; four sisters, Dianne ( Rodney) Myers, San Diego, CA, Arvilla Holder, San Diego, CA, Marlease (Fran) Bogner, Beaver Dam, WI, and Marge (Tom) Gunderson, Bismarck, ND, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Lorne and Lester Beaudoin, and two grandchildren Jeanette Jiles and LeVonne Zern.
