Dorothy Roemer-Meyer

Dorothy Meyer Roemer, 92, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at River Road Assisted Living Facility, Keizer, OR. Dorothy was born May 11, 1912 in Wabasha County, MN to William and Anna Wieck. She married Henry Mayer in 1929. They made their home in Marion, Fargo and Dickinson, ND. After Henry?s death in 1977, Dorothy moved to her retirement home in Mesa, AZ. She then married Carl Roemer in 1987, who preceded her in death in 2002. Her last years were spent in Keizer, OR. Dorothy is survived by her 2 sons, Ivan (Patty) Meyer of Phoenix, AZ and Dwane (Marlene) Meyer of Mesa, AZ, her 2 daughters, Jacqueline (Bruce) Monson of Billings, MT and Kathleen (Darryl) Hanson of Salem, OR, 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Memorials can be sent to the Shriner?s Hospital for Children, 3101 SW Sam Jackson Park Rd, Portland, OR 97239-3009.
