Dustin Blake Moos was born in Dickinson on April 30, 1982, the son of Midgie Moos. He grew up in Dickinson and moved to Bismarck when he was around six years old, returning to Dickinson to be with family when he was 37. He was a graduate of Century High School. Dustin, Lori and his mother spent many wonderful years together. After a few years on his own, Dustin moved to Able, Inc. in October of 2023. This move blessed him with many new love-filled friends, the best friends of his lifetime. His love was not divided but multiplied. Dustin’s generous heart was a gift that kept on giving. If he didn’t have an iPad to borrow out or a jelly donut to give away, he gave the gift of his presence and a hand to hold. Dustin never knew anyone to be a stranger and would give whoever he walked by a high-five. He cared for everyone he met, staying connected and genuinely asking how they were doing. Dustin had a childlike, non-judging faith, always wanting to pray for others and for others to feel better. He also loved with a sweet mischief. Dustin’s favorite pastimes included playing Wheel of Fortune, playing records on his record player, and watching movies; his favorite being Power Rangers, Home Alone and Knight Rider. Dustin used FaceTime to check on his family and friends many times a day. Dustin proudly worked at Baker Boy as their beloved paper shredder, and of course he loved visiting with everyone in the office while there.

Dustin is survived by his mother, Midgie Moos; sister, Lorraine Bashus; step-siblings, Amanda Bashus, Jeff Jr. (Joy) Bashus; Aunt and Uncle, Guy and Sandy Moos; cousin, Melissa Moos (fiancé, Riley Rohde); step-nephews, Cole Reep, Harrison Bashus and his family at Able, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mabel and Albert Helegson, Lorraine and Marvin Moos; uncle, Todd Moos; step-siblings, Dusty and Ashley Bashus. He was joined in Heaven shortly after his death by his best friend, Wade.

In leu of flowers and gifts, the family wishes for memorials to Able, Inc. in Dustin’s Honor.
