Edna Plummer

Funeral Services for Edna Olivia Plummer, 87 of Baker are 10:00 a. m. Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the Baker Community Church in Baker. Burial will be in the Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Edna passed away Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the Wibaux Nursing Home. She was born November 22, 1916 at Lake Park, MN the daughter of Oscar and Anna (Steen) Berg. Edna resided in Minnesota until 1924 when she moved with her mother, sister, Alma and brother, Victor to Ollie, MT. She attended school there, graduating from the Ollie High School. On December 2, 1935 she was married to Pat Plummer at Glendive, MT. They lived near Ollie where they ranched and raised their family. Edna was a member of the Ollie EUB Church, Golva square dance club and was clerk of the Ollie School board. She worked several years as T & M Electric as a bookkeeper in Baker and as a part time clerk at the Mandan Drug Store in Mandan, ND. For several years Pat & Edna wintered in Phoenix and spent the remainder of the year in Baker. Edna was a loving daughter, wife, mother and neighbor. During her life she always enjoyed babysitting and later all the visits with her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Edna?s family greatly appreciates the care given to her during her stay at the Wibaux County Nursing Home. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Patrick of Beach, ND; a son, Douglas (Judy) Plummer of Mandan, ND; a daughter Loretta (Harold) Schlothauer of Fairview, MT; Grandchildren: Sherry and Keith Plummer of Dickinson, ND, Kevin (Kim) Plummer of Ollie, Dirk (Laurie) Schlothauer of Fairview, MT, Lonna (Michael) Quast of Bismarck; two step-grandsons, Cory & Jayme Glaser of Bismarck, ND; five great-grandchildren: Justin, Sheyenne & McKenzi Plummer of Ollie, and Jade and BayLee Schlothauer of Fairview, MT; a step-great granddaughter, Ashley Briggs of Fairview, MT; three brothers: Lee Roy Wang and Dulane (Anna Mae) Wang of Ollie and Allan (Ruth) Wang of Baker. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Berg, her mother and step-father, Anna and Elmer Wang; a sister, Alma Thoemke; a brother, Victor Berg; a niece, Lorraine Thoemke; nephews, Barry Plummer & Mike Wang and a daughter-in-law, Myra (Corbitt) Plummer.
