Edward Keith, a longtime Hebron Businessman, known to everyone as Buster, age 89, of the Marian Manor in Glen Ullin, and formerly of Hebron, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Marian Manor. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Central time on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the St. John Church in Hebron. The burial of ashes in the St. John Cemetery will be later this spring. Buster was born June 10, 1918 in Minnesota the son of Arthur and Nellie (Lynes) Keith. His father died at a very young age. Nellie and children moved to Hebron when Buster was 10. He was raised and educated in Hebron and graduated in 1936. Buster went into business shortly after graduating. On September 22, 1939 he married Doris Neal at Minot, ND. Following marriage they continued in the bar and hotel business until 1983 when they retired. Buster was an avid golfer, he and Doris could be seen on many a golf course around the area. Like it says on the back of Buster?s golf cart ?old golfers never die, they just fade away?. Grateful for having shared in his life are his children: Neal, Mandan; Kelly (Betty), Bismarck; and Bruce (Cheryl), Delta, CO; his daughters: Beverly (Bill) Rehm, Dillon, MT; Sharon (Rick) Hehn, Olympia, WA; and Kerry (Chuck) Gietzen, Glen Ullin; along with 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Margaret Funk, Edgar, MT, and Ruth Stiller, Hebron, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Doris.
