Funeral Mass for Edward S. ?Eddie? Kostelecky, 81, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a. m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, ND with Father Todd Kreitinger Celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 2:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p. m. Edward passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson. Edward S. Kostelecky was born December 22, 1929, in Dickinson, the son of Joseph A. and Christina (Pavlish) Kostelecky. He attended country schools and St. Patrick?s Catholic School, graduating from Model High School in Dickinson. On July 22, 1949, Eddie married Angeline Kaisershot in New Hradec. Together they raised their family of seven children: Gayleen, Eugene, Cary, Corrine, Michele, Edward and Todd. During his adult life, Eddie spent time delivering milk for Queen City Dairy and gas for Farmer?s Union Oil Company, worked as a mechanic for Sax Motor Company, and as a clerk and carrier for the US Post Office for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time working on carpentry and upholstery projects and mechanical issues with vehicles. Eddie also liked to play cards, bowling and golfing during his spare time. Eddie is survived by his wife, Angie; five children, Gayleen M. (Tom) Wanner of Dickinson, Eugene A. (Carlotta) Kostelecky of Bismarck, Corrine K. (Doug) Wiege of Dickinson, Edward F. (Julie) Kostelecky of Tumwater, WA and Todd D. (Michelle) of Kingman, AZ; eleven grandchildren, Tom (Lynnett) Wanner, Corey (Keri) Wanner, Erin Wanner, Shane Kostelecky, Nicole Eury, Gage Weige, Katelyn Weige, Casey (Mandi) Scheeler, Lindsey Kostelecky, Shelby Kostelecky and Lexi Kostelecky and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Christina Kostelecky; a son, Cary J. Kostelecky; a daughter, Michele Scheeler; three brothers, Charles A. Kostecky, George Kostelecky and Albert Kostelecky; and three sisters, Mildred Dukart, Martha Dunnagan and Elsie Haag.
